Welcome to the official page of Daniel Mackintosh, a 20 year old racing driver from the UK pursuing a professional career in Motorsport. Feel free to get in contact or just have a look around!
Daniel Mackintosh began racing Go-Karts at the age of seven and achieved major success, until at twelve he suffered a major relapse in a Chronic Kidney condition that forced him to shelve his racing ambitions.
During a three year period he suffered serious bouts of illness and was regularly hospitalised for long periods. This took a huge toll on him.
His determination however never waivered.
Having regained his self- belief and confidence a racing driver needed, when asked by his school to take part in the British Schools Karting Championship in 2019 he grabbed the opportunity, despite some understandable reservations.
These however proved unfounded as he won all of his races and showed he still had the natural talent to drive racing cars fast.
He then went on to win other Karting races and won the 2019 IKR Championship at his local Kart circuit.
With the fire re-kindled Dan went on to drive Ginetta Junior Sports Cars, British Formula 4 and FF1600 achieving remarkable results.
With invitations to compete in Formula 4 in 2020 and Porsche Cayman Sprint GB in 2021 Daniel is now looking to further his career 2022 racing in some of the most competitive motorsport series in the UK & Europe.
-Daniel certainly stands out with his commitment and desire 'to be the very best he can be, the future looks very exciting for this young talent given the right doors of opportunity.
